The Marvel alum, 44, and the Borderline actress, 28, welcomed their first child together on Friday, Oct. 24, in Massachusetts, and named her Alma Grace Baptista Evans, a source tells sources.
They’re enjoying being alone and these wonderful first few days as a family with their newborn,” says the insider.
The couple met in January 2022 and married in September 2023.
Evans and Baptista have mainly kept their relationship secret. In November 2022, Â they had been dating “for over a year”.
According to govvacancy, the couple married in September 2023 at a private cermony on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Around that time, PEOPLE’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive expressed his wish to settle down and establish a family, but did not name Baptista.
“That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” Evans told me.

A previous insider confirmed this desire, telling PEOPLE that Evans “got serious very quickly” after meeting the actress for the first time in Europe. “He kept saying he knew she was the one.”
“He has been ready to settle down for a while,” the insider explained. “He can’t wait to start a family. “He was simply waiting for the right girl.”
