Frank Caprio (November 24, 1936 – August 20, 2025) was an American judge and politician who was the chief judge of Providence’s municipal court and head of the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education. His judicial work appeared in the show Captured in Providence. He also appeared in the television series Parking Wars, where he adjudicated various traffic violations. The Caught in Providence YouTube channel currently has 2.92 million subscribers.
In 2017, his courtroom videos became viral, receiving over 15 million views. In 2022, views of Caught in Providence approached 500 million, while one video uploaded on Pulptastic received 43.6 million views on YouTube.He became well-known for his sensitivity and humor in court.
