Donald Trump is currently the President of the United States. Someone recently attempted to assassinate him at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Saturday when a 31-year-old school teacher from Torrance, California, shot him.
He was a guest member of that hotel, and he did all the planning. He is currently being interrogated. He is currently in custody.
The event was attended by many members of the administration, celebrities, and members of the press.
Jeffery Carroll, D.C.’s interim police chief, said, “This was an isolated incident. He said the suspect, a hotel guest, was armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and a knife. He fled security and headed toward the ballroom where dinner was being served.”
On the other hand, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said he will face three counts:
2 charges of using a firearm during a violent crime
1 charge of assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon, and said he will be arraigned on Monday.

Second attack on 15 September 2024 at Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach

- Attacker:Â 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh
It was a failed assassination attempt because Donald Trump’s Secret Service agents had already spotted the suspect and started firing. This attack took place when Donald Trump was at the Trump International Golf Club, and he took up a sniper position targeting the Trump car of 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh. But he was spotted and apprehended by the Nader police during a traffic stop in Martin County.
Third attack on 25 April 2026 at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
- Location: Washington Hilton Hotel
- Attacker:Â Cole Tomas Allen, a California resident, about 31 years old.
This attack happened on Saturday, 25 April 2026, when he was set to speak at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. During the ceremony, a break was underway, and Donald Trump was talking to his wife, Melania Trump and an aide, when suddenly a gunshot was heard. Immediately, law enforcement (police/security) arrived and brought the situation under control.
The good thing is that no one was seriously injured in this firing. One officer was shot, but his bulletproof vest saved his life.
Secret Service agents immediately removed President Trump from there and took him to a safe place.
