She is most recognised for her roles in the television drama Anarkali (1988), the Bollywood love drama Henna (1991), and the Lollywood film Sargam (1995). In 2001, she produced and directed the film Babu. In 1995, Zeba received the Nigar Award for best actress for the film Sargam.
Zeba made her television debut in 1988 with the Pakistan Television programme Anarkali. Her melancholy romantic performance in Anarkali was well received.
