What is Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Aadhaar Yojana 2024?
The government of Maharashtra launched a new scheme called” Gyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Aadhaar Scheme”. In this scheme financial help will be provided to the poor OBC category Maharashtra students.
Poor people can pursue their higher education with the help of Rs.60,000(financial assistance) per year to OBC category students. This amount will be transferred to the bank account of the students through DBT. All the expenses will be given after determining all the food expenses, residence expenses and living expenses.

How to apply under Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Aadhaar Yojana 2024?
- To apply for Savitri Phule Aadhar Yojana, visit your nearest social welfare office and obtain the application form from the officer in charge.
- After receiving the application form, carefully enter the requested information.
- Attach the required documents to the application form.
- You will no longer need to return the application form from where you obtained it.
- After submitting the application form, you will be notified of the amount.
- Your application form will be reviewed.

Eligibility Criteria for Savitribai Phule Aadhaar Yojana
- Applicants must be residents of Maharashtra state.
- Disabled students must provide a certificate from the District Surgeon indicating a disability of more than 40%.
- The applicant must fall under the OBC category. For this, he must have a caste certificate.
- Students applying under the orphan category must provide an orphan certificate from the Department of Women and Child Welfare.
- The student’s parents’ annual income should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh.
- Link the student’s bank account to their Aadhaar card.
